After a morning filled with learning and skill development, Teamster Women were joined by Anthony Rosa, IBT Human Rights and Diversity Commission Director and International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President, Sean O'Brien for a community action project that truly embodied the spirit of the Teamsters union. Together, we set out to update playground equipment and make repairs both inside and outside a local school in San Juan.

The project was more than just a chance to improve the physical environment of the school; it was an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families in the community. The team worked diligently, demonstrating their dedication to service and their commitment to fostering safe and nurturing spaces for the next generation. The community action project in San Juan is just one example of the many ways in which the women of Teamsters Local 104 are making a difference. Their involvement in the Teamsters Women’s Conference and subsequent service project highlights their dedication to both our membership and community solidarity.
